Ben de Raes’s film Kapital Europe, for which I did the sound design, will premiere as the closing event of Courtisane Festival in Ghent (BE) on April 6th at 20:00.

Ingel Vaikla's video art piece “Moi aussi, je regarde,” for which I did the sound design and the music, can be viewed in the online screening room. This project is presented by Blue Screen, a screening program in Brussels that showcases film and video works by visual artists.

La cosa migliore (The best reward) is a film by Federico Ferrone (Il Varco), for which I composed the original soundtrack and worked on the sound design.
It will premiere at Alice nella Città (Rome Film Festival) on October 23, 2024.

Memory is an animal, it barks with many mouths is a video art piece by Eva Giolo, for which I created the sound design.
Commissioned by Ar/Ge Kunst Gallery (Bolzano, Italy) as part of the Biennale Gherdeina, it will be on display from May 30, 2024, to July 27, 2024, at Ar/Ge Kunst Gallery in an exhibition curated by Francesca Verga and Zasha Colah.

The silent world is a sound installation developed in collaboration with Rachele Maistrello now on view at PAC  in Milan. 

It’s an individual experience, open every Thursday from 17:00 to 22:30 until November 2nd.

Admission is free, but reservation is required via vivaticket.

"Double Voiced" brings together the audiovisual work of four artists in a shared scenography. At the centre of their work is the observation of people, places and customs".

Eva Giolo's "Stone, Hat, Ribbon and Rose", which I sound designed, will be installed at the Kunsthal Extra City (Antwerpen, BE) in Elephy's collective show "Double Voiced".

The immersive, tridimensional version of The silent world will be premiered at "La Sonosfera" of Pesaro, as one of the shortlisted piece of the ISAC 2023.

On April 2nd, 2023 two films on which I worked will be show at the Courtisane Festival in Gent (BE): "Hit Him on the Head with a Hard Heavy Hammer" by Rebecca Jeane Arthur and "The demand of ordinary devotion" by Eva Giolo. Both produced by Elephy.

Le proprietà dei metalli by Antonio Bigini, which I sound designed and composed the music for, will be premiered at Berlinale 2023 in the competitive Kplus section.

Das Retirée, documentary film by Julie Pfleiderer has been premiered @Festival de cinéma En ville and won the Jury Prize on February 4th, 2023 .

December 28th and 29th, 2022 at Villa Strozzi (Firenze, Italy) Tempo Reale will perform, along with other pieces, my "Prima Ipotesi sul Reale".

November 4th, 2022 at Il lazzaretto foundation in Milan for the Festival della peste there will be the opening of The silent world | Blue Diamond Chapter IV, sound installation made in collaboration with Rachele Maistrello. 

Infinito. L'universo di Luigi Ghirri by Matteo Parisini, will be premiere at MAXXI (Rome, Italy) October 15th, 2022 for the Rome Film Festival

Prima ipotesi sul reale will be played October 15th, 2022 in Krakow during the International Confederation Of Electroacoustic Music General Assembly in Krakow.

Eva Giolo's experimental film, which I sound designed, Flowers blooming in our throats will be shown @ Cinema Galleggiante (Floating Cinema) September 3rd, during the Venice Biennale. The program is presented by the In Between Art Film foundation.

Next appointment with Eva's work in Italy is September 12-18th @ Villa Medici Film Festival  in Rome with The demands of ordinary devotion.

Armin Ferrari's film, which I sound designed and composed the music for, will be premiered at Biografilm festival June, 12th 2022 in Bologna, (IT).

Anaïs Chabeur's video Installation, which I sound designed, will be on display at the Atelier Arthur Rogiers April the 17th and 18th, 2022 in Brussels, Brussels (BE).

The demands of ordinary devotion by Eva Giolo will be installed in the "Laying Bricks" exhibition from January 22nd to March 12th, at Harlan Levey Projects 1080, Bruxelles (BE).

Wasserklavier, small commentary piece - commissioned by Spectra Ensemble - I wrote on Luciano Berio's piano piece, will be premiered along with 5 other pieces on Friday, 18th 2021 at the De Bijloke Music Center in Gent (BE).

Il Varco has been officially selected in the documentary section of the European Film Awards (EFA) 2020.

La mia virgola by Matteo Parisini will be premiered in Piazza Maggiore, Bologna (BO) on July, 30th, 2020. The film will be then broadcasted on Rai Tre on August 9th, 2020.

Il Varco won the "What the doc" section @Docsbarcelona 2020.

In these quarantine days, an old acquaintance of the chaos theory, which has been largely used as strategy to organize sounds, has come back en vogue: the butterfly effect. It’s a theory developed by Lorenz to explain the unpredictability of atmospheric events. I thought, therefore, it was a perfect starting point for an online improvisation session inspired by meteorological maps.

My perturbation comrades are Simone Faraci and - if the surreptitious gods of fast internet connections will permit it - Agnese Banti. 

Ideator and guest of the event is the Center of Music Research Tempo Reale, which will stream the event on its Facebook page.

Saturday 22 February at the Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Trento and Rovereto (MART), Italy, will open the exhibition curated by Italo Zannier and Vittorio Sgarbi.

Ingel Vaikla's three screen installation will open February, 7th, 19.00, at Beursschouwburg in Bruxelles. 

The exhibition will be open until March, 21th. See you there!

December, 17th there will be the opening of "C'era una volta Sergio Leone" in Rome at the Museo Dell'Ara Pacis. The exhibition will be open from December, 17th 2019 to May, 3d 2020.

Danilo Monte's movie Nel Mondo Trailer is online. The film will be premiered November, 19th in Milan during the Filmmaker Festival.

After two year from its release, Ingel Vaikla's film, Roosenberg, won the first prize at Move Cine Arte Festival. It will be shown in Venice October 19th, 2019.
